Decorating a Sports-Themed Living Room

You are an avid sports fan and your life revolves around your favorite teams and athletes. Decorating your living room to show off your team spirit and loyalty is a must. You can add sports-styled end tables and these can be used to hold you and your guest’s food and drinks. Most importantly, add a large flat screen television, 42′ or bigger, to the main wall of the living room and be sure that all furniture pieces have a clear view for watching the television.

And, don’t forget the lighting. Add sports-themed fans and table, floor and wall lamps. Choose lamps decorated in your favorite team’s colors and logos or with a generic sports-theme in mind. These lamps provide illuminating light while allowing you to display your team or sports spirit and loyalty.

If you have the extra room, you can add a sports bar with sports-themed stools on one side or in the corner of the room. A smaller flat screen television could be placed on the wall above the bar. The end result – a relaxing place for you, your family, and your guests to enjoy.
